I grew up in Dublin, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus. My hobbies then are not too different than mine now: creating machines, drawing monsters, and listening to and writing stories. I loved to learn about biology, history, and science; in short, I was a huge nerd, and my parents tell that was why I needed glasses so early on. I also enjoyed outdoor activities such as soccer, tennis, and biking. I have since added running and weightlifting to that list as well.

 

I am currently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I participated in a wide range of campus activities, including robotics club, Chinese culture club, running club, and Asian student magazine.

 

If you ask me to describe myself, I am an optimist, adventurer, and innovator. I am persistent and ambitious, but I can empathize with people easily, and intake their viewpoints to adjust mine. I have great appreciation for other people's efforts and talents, and I believe that proper teamwork requires everyone to derive a sense of satisfaction from the group effort.
